Directions:
1) Dip the tip of a blender pen into the corner of a Stampin' Pastel®, then apply colour to the stamped image. Outline the image first.
2) Dip the tip of the blender pen into the corner as many times as desired to get the depth of colour you wish to add to the stamped image.
OR
3) Press the closed lid of a Classic Stampin' Pad® down against the inked pad, then open the lid, creating a small pool of colour in the lid. Use a blender pen to lift the ink from the lid and apply to your stamped image.
Additional Tips:
1) For more saturated colours, watercolour with Classic ink refills.
2) While there are several ways to watercolour, each method has its advantages and unique looks.
3) For more vibrant colour and shading with watercolour pencils, colour your artwork again while the card stock is still wet.
4) You can also make a palette by scribbling with different colours of Watercolor Wonder Crayons or watercolour pencils on a piece of scrap paper. Pick up the colour from the palette with a blender pen.
5) You can also use a watercolour brush, however, the blender pen has a finer tip allowing you greater control and less mess because the fluid is contained within the pen itself.
