Directions:
1) Ink a stamp.
2) Stamp the image.
3) Restamp the image one or more times without re-inking it.
Additional Tips:
1) This technique is a great way to get several shades of color from a single ink pad.
2) Consider every ink pad you purchase has virtually 4 colours in one. For example - using Lovely Lilac - the first time you stamp on scrap paper, your image is Lovely Lilac, but each time you stamp again without re-inking, you get a lighter and lighter shade of Lovely Lilac. This technique is called 'repetition stamping' or 'stamping off' and adds great dimension to your projects.
